Staycation The past few months have been unlike anything we have experienced. Even as the Governor and federal government lift restrictions to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus, life has been reimagined. Summer has often been a time for travel to fun and faraway places. You don’t have to travel from Pittsburgh to have the time of your life!

The past few months have been unlike anything we have experienced. Even as the Governor and federal government lift restrictions to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus, life has been reimagined. Summer has often been a time for travel to fun and faraway places. You don’t have to travel from Pittsburgh to have the time of your life!

We are lucky to live in a city with so much to do and so much to explore! And the parks are a big part of it.

The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy has identified resources and ways to have memorable experiences exploring all that Pittsburgh and its parks and green spaces have to offer! So, get ready to have the adventure of a lifetime, without traveling to a distant land…

LET'S GET STARTED

Step 1: Plan ahead. It's important to have your activities and adventures planned out for the week.
Step 2: Decide if you want to set a daily schedule as part of your summer staycation. Even with a daily schedule you can still take a day and go with the flow. It’s your staycation, you make the rules!
Step 3: Decide if you're going to enjoy your staycation alone, or if you're going to invite others along on the journey! If you invite others, you can plan the staycation together!
