In her signature bandana, Patty has been an educator, mentor, and learner for her entire adult life. A Naturalist Educator at the Parks Conservancy, Patty can typically be found in park streams, woodlands, and meadows helping kids connect to nature and seeking an elusive blue crayfish of mythical Frick Environmental Center repute. Outside of work, Patty rarely stops moving. She has covered many miles in and around Pittsburgh as an avid hiker; she spends as much time as she can with her two free-spirited children; and never misses a chance to dance at a great concert. When she does slow down, she’s known to say that “I solemnly swear that I am up to no good,” as she settles in with her favorite Harry Potter book.
