Brandon Riley
While considering a future career as an architect, it was a visit to a park in Boston that inspired Brandon to become a landscape architect instead. After graduating from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Brandon has spent more than 18 years working almost exclusively on parks and public open space projects. Over the course of his career, he has seen the positive impact that parks have on communities and individuals, and he is driven by the opportunity to create places that enrich people’s lives. As Director of Community Projects and Engagement at the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, Brandon brings his passion and expertise to help create transformative public open spaces for the communities and neighborhoods throughout Pittsburgh. Outside the office, Brandon can often be found hiking, mountain biking, and trail running in Frick Park, or exploring the Western Pennsylvania wilderness with his wife and son.
