Bethany Wells

Bethany joins the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy with a varied background in non-profit work, including programming and event planning for The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, The United Way of Summit County, and The Akron Art Museum. She holds three master’s degrees from Kent State University, ISIT Paris, and University of Paris, two of which were completed in France, and is a true Francophile. Her favorite park is Le Parc de St. Cloud, located just outside of Paris, where she often did walking meditations to combat the stress of writing her thesis in her second language. She is interested in how parks vary across cultures and their implication for society. Her favorite park in Pittsburgh is the Mellon Park Walled Garden because it feels like a little piece of Europe in the heart of Pittsburgh.
