Park Signage and Trail Restoration

About the Project

In partnership with the City of Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy has improved access and usability in the city’s regional parks through major trail and signage upgrades. In 2010, nearly six miles of trails were improved, and close to 100 directional and interpretive signs were installed across the four regional parks, supported by more than $3 million in federal funding raised by the Parks Conservancy and an additional $800,000 from the community.
