Over the next few weeks, it’s safe to say that spring has settled into the Pittsburgh region. Trees have begun to bud, deer can be seen grazing at the edges of the woods as dusk approaches, and spring peepers can be heard in vernal pools in the damp parts of our parks. Look closer in the shady areas of Frick, Highland, Schenley and Riverview parks and you may spot another sign that spring has arrived.
