It’s Official: A 660-Acre Gift Will Become Pittsburgh’s Newest And Biggest Park

This week, history has been made in Pittsburgh.
Thanks to an extraordinarily generous gift, approximately 660 acres of lush greenspace will become Pittsburgh's newest and biggest park!
THE NEW HAYS PARKLAND
This enormous tract of land in Hays, which will honor the legacy of Roxsan Betters, is a continuation of Pittsburgh's legacy of tremendous philanthropic gifts of public land. Plans for this great greenspace and when it will be open to the public is still yet to be determined.
