This December, we invite you to consider the many ways you can further support our mission. Every effort makes our corner of the world a little greener!

Help us reach more audiences by forwarding our emails and engaging with our end-of-year posts on social media. Every like, comment, or share truly makes a difference, especially during this season of giving.

2. Volunteer with Us

If you’re looking for a hands-on way to make a difference, consider volunteering with us. There are many opportunities throughout the year, and your time and energy can make a real impact. Visit our volunteer page to explore upcoming opportunities.

3. Give a Greener Gift

This holiday season, choose gifts that give back. Our Holiday Gift Guide includes many thoughtful options: 

For Young Conservationists: Gift a one-time, annual membership to the Leadership Grove, our cohort of next generation park supporters. This donation opens the door to professional connections, a deeper insight into critical, local restoration work, and a year's worth of exclusive opportunities. ($75-$250) 

For Tree Lovers: Celebrate a special occasion or honor a loved one by planting a tree in one of Pittsburgh’s regional parks. (Starting at $75) 

For Garden Enthusiasts: Our Perennial Fund is becoming an increasingly popular gift option for our donors. Planting perennials ensures that your gift will bloom for years to come, brightening our parks with new life each season. (Starting at $25)  

For Anyone: Send a reminder of Pittsburgh to long-distance friends, or encourage local loved ones to promote our parks with a holiday gift from our online shop! 

4. Consider Alternative Giving Options

Consider the wisdom of making your year-end gift through means that help you avoid capital gains tax. We accept many non-cash options, including cryptocurrency, stocks, mutual funds, or gifts made through Donor Advised Funds. After all, would you rather donate to the IRS or your favorite cause?
