Caring for the places you love Horticulture and Forestry Team

The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy's Horticulture and Forestry Team works to nurture and protect the green spaces we love.

Whether planting new trees, shrubs, and flowers or investigating new destructive insects and diseases, our gardens and parks require year-round maintenance and the utmost care. YOUR PARKS MATTER

Parks thrive when they have sun, soil, rain…and you. You ensure programs are offered, trees are planted, capital projects are funded, flowers are tended to, research is pursued. There is nothing the parks can’t do with you behind them.
