About the Project
Completed in 2003, this innovative project transforms treated water from a nearby microfiltration plant into a natural, rock-lined water feature that cleans and aerates the flow as it moves toward Lake Carnegie. Designed to replace a proposed concrete chute, the project enhances water quality while creating a safe, attractive park amenity that allows visitors to stroll through Highland Park alongside flowing water.
