Get Ready to “Picnic in Your Park” for a Good Cause

Get your baskets ready because Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy’s “Picnic in Your Park” is set to return June 6.

Presented by PNC Park, the event includes a pre-made basket or charcuterie board for sale that people can enjoy at Schenley Park or in the comfort of their own backyard. 

The park event will feature live entertainment and participants may choose from three different baskets. There’s a “Wine Country Basket,” a “Southern Charm Basket” and the “Three Rivers Flavor Basket.” 

For those looking for something lighter, sangria or prosecco baskets for two are also available for purchase.

All proceeds benefit the conservancy’s mission to maintain and enhance the city’s parks. For each basket sold, a meal will be donated to a child in need through Pittsburgh’s “Grab and Go” meal distribution program.
