Frick Environmental Center Project Announcement

The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy today announced the start of the first phase of construction for the new Frick Environmental Center at Frick Park.

"After many years of enthusiastic community input, dedicated public and priovate support, and careful design and planning, the work to build the new Center is now underway," said Meg Cheever, president and CEO of the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy. "The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and the City of Pittsburgh, wtih Pittsburgh-based PJ Dick serving as general contractor, are energized by the start of this exciting project, and look forward to sharing it's progress with the region in the coming months."

Effective Monday August 4, 2015 the construction zone will be in place, with several park trail detours and park entrance closures in effect.
