Fresh Brews Meet Fresh Air: A New Way to Support Pittsburgh’s Parks and Start Your Weekend

Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and Urban Trail Coffee Co. Partner for Friday Pop-Ups at the Frick Environmental Center

PITTSBURGH – AUGUST 7, 2025 – The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy today announced a new partnership with Urban Trail Coffee Co., bringing their mobile coffee trailer to the Frick Environmental Center on select Fridays this summer and fall. Beginning Friday, August 8, park-goers can enjoy freshly brewed coffee and espresso drinks from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., all while supporting the parks they love.

As part of this collaboration, a portion of the sales will directly benefit the Parks Conservancy's mission to enhance and steward Pittsburgh's park system.

"This partnership is a fun and meaningful way to connect people to their parks," said Alana Wenk, director of marketing and communications at the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy. "Whether you're stopping by the campus on your morning walk, after a hike, or just in the mood for a great cup of coffee, your purchase helps sustain these green spaces for everyone to enjoy. It's a small act with a big impact."

Urban Trail Coffee Co. is known for its focus on community and craft, serving locally roasted Commonplace Coffee from a mobile trailer that brings the coffee shop experience to public spaces across the city.
