We will walk around Frick Environmental Center, identifying wild edibles plants, discussing how to identify, harvest, and use the plants we find. We will discuss where it is legal to forage, and we will forage some edible plants. The participants will then use what we collected to prepare their lunch – cooking mountain pies over a fire.

This program is best for families with older children (ages 8+). It will meet at the Frick Environmental Center fountain.
