This is the first of our Sustainability + Building Tour series with the aim of sharing ideas and creating community around sustainability issues. The Frick Environmental Center is one of the greenest buildings in the world, boasting LEED Platinum and Living Building Certification. Living Buildings are designed to push the envelope of what is possible within the building and construction industry, including with materials. During this tour, learn more about how waste was diverted and materials were responsibly sourced during the construction process. Following the tour, there will be an opportunity to learn about waste diversion efforts in Pittsburgh!
