This is the first of our Sustainability + Building Tour series with the aim of sharing ideas and creating community around sustainability issues. The Frick Environmental Center is one of the greenest buildings in the world, boasting LEED Platinum and Living Building Certification. Health, one of the key tenants of the Living Building Challenge, prioritizes opportunities for improved human health in and around a Living Building. Join this building tour with an extra focus on how the Frick Environmental Center encourages a connection to nature and community health in its design, materials, and programs, including an additional forest bathing exercise with PPC educators.

We’ll finish the event by walking over to the new Sensory Nature Trail and Outdoor Discovery Space.
