It’s an adventure under the stars on Observatory Hill as we present a family adventure day dedicated to space exploration! Join the Conservancy, the Moonshot Museum, the Allegheny Observatory, and others for an exciting lineup of fun, learning, and visitors from a galaxy far, far away! Observatory tours begin at 6 p.m. Bring a blanket and a lawn chair and relax on the lawn at dusk for a screening of Woman in Motion, a documentary film that explores actress Nichelle Nichols’ daunting task to launch a national blitz for NASA, recruiting 8,000 of the nation’s best and brightest to fly in space.
