Introducing Monthly Meet and Greets with Birds of Prey at the Schenley Park Visitor Center! This thrilling experience will bring you a heaping dose of nature during your lunch break. Come one, come all, and feel the awe of getting eye-to-eye with birds like red-tailed hawks, falcons, and more. These incredible creatures are also rescue birds and part of important local conservation efforts.

Join us for an extraordinary opportunity to meet a bird of prey at the Schenley Park Visitor Center. July’s special guest will be a peregrine falcon (just like the ones that recently hatched on the nearby Cathedral of Learning)! Learn about this incredible bird while having the opportunity to ask questions to its handler.

All of the birds are provided by Stormy Oaks Nature Conservancy. The Conservancy is the home of Wildbird Recovery, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of wildlife and natural resources. They achieve this goal by presenting on-site and off-site educational programs, in addition to providing rehabilitation efforts for Passerines (Songbirds, Swifts, Swallows) and Raptors (Birds of Prey).

The events are free to the public and no registration is required.
