FRICK ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER
The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy is celebrating 25 years of improving, maintaining, and caring for Pittsburgh’s parks by creating a collection of immersive and inclusive lighting installations across the city. Known as “Making Your Parks Shine,” these six installations are a visual celebration of some of Pittsburgh’s most beloved park spaces. Each site will be illuminated the evenings of Friday, October 1 and Saturday, October 2.
As part of our celebration, please join us for a community block party the evening of Saturday, October 2 at the Frick Environmental Center. The party will include live music from LaRue June & The Howling Mob, local bites from Everest Eats and Totopo Food Truck, a Spin Scooters demonstration and family-friendly activities from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. This event is free and open to the public thanks to generous support from PNC and UPMC Health Plan.
