Frick Park Stewardship Days
Ecological restoration | Invasive species management
- Meeting Location: Frick Environmental Center, at picnic table next to the Barn public restrooms
- Parking: Free on-site and on-street parking
- Bathrooms: Available on-site
- Equipment: Gloves and tools will be provided by the PPC, along with bug spray, sunscreen, and poison ivy removal soap.
- Water: Water fountains available at meeting location, but distant from the worksite. Please bring a filled water bottle to stay hydrated.
- Attire: Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, long pants (ideally tucked into socks or boots) and long sleeves which offer a good first layer of protection from poison ivy, thorny shrubbery, ticks, and other biting insects. Lighter colored clothing is recommended to help spot ticks. Otherwise, please dress appropriately for the weather.

Please note that a photographer may be on-site to capture photos and video from the program. The photos/video captured may be used to help the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy further promote its mission. Please advise the photographer on-site if you DO NOT want your photo/video taken.
