Explore the Schenley Park at twilight on three hikes perfect for the spooky season:
October 28 5 PM – 6:30 PM
Fall Hike – Explore the plants and animals of the park while surrounded by colors of autumn. The Rangers will identify native and non-native plants and discuss features of the park along the way.
October 29 5PM – 6:30 PM
Nocturnal Animal Hike – Experience Schenley Park as the sun sets with the Park Rangers as they stop at several spots to talk about the fascinating animals that come out after dark.
October 30 5PM – 6:30 PM
Cryptids Hike – On this fun and mysterious hike, the Rangers will explore local legends and search for signs of Cryptids—mythical creatures said to roam the region. Bring your curiosity and your imagination!
Hikes will include some stairs, walking on cobbled pathways, and lower light levels. Be sure to wear comfortable footwear.
