Pittsburgh doesn’t just compete in sports – help our city come out on top in the City Nature Challenge! Join Naturalist Educator Stephen Bucklin on a walk to document and identify the urban lichens of Oakland. We’ll meet at the Schenley Park Visitor’s Center for an overview of lichens, iNaturalist, and how to participate in the City Nature Challenge before heading outside to see what we can find! A smartphone or digital camera is recommended to take pictures.

Slope: Varied – mostly flat with occasional steep
