Join Naturalist Educator Nyjah Cephas and special guest birder Eric Hall (who has been birding Frick Park for nearly 50 years!) for a guided birding outing to celebrate Black Birders Week! This event is designed for beginner birders and the bird curious – no prior experience required. We will have binoculars available to borrow.

Late May is a great time to see a diversity of bird species in Pittsburgh as they begin raising their families in our parks.

This event aims to increase visibility and build community among Black birders and people of color. To help us build equitable spaes, please take that into consideration before signing up for a spot.
