Author and Pittsburgh native Lisa Donovan is back to share her love of birds and read her children’s book Birds in my Backyard—a whimsical celebration of the incredible that we see in our region. The reading will be followed by a bird-collage making activity and mini-birdwatching hike led by naturalist educators. The program is best suited for parents and caregivers with children under 10 years old. Books will be available for sale.
Programs at the Frick Environmental Center are supported by the taxpayers of Allegheny County through a public grant from the Allegheny Regional Asset District (RAD)
