New to bird watching? Looking for a group to go birding with? Join Naturalist Educator Stephen Bucklin in Birding Pittsburgh’s Parks. Beginners are welcome, and binoculars will be available for those who would like to borrow a pair for the walk. This month’s walk will meet in Hay’s Woods at the Agnew St Trailhead. We’ll walk from the trailhead out to Bird Lab’s banding site, where we’ll have an opportunity to observe their operations and ask questions about the birds they are studying in Hays. Banding operations are weather-dependent, walk may be rescheduled to the following morning in the event of rain.

Suggested donation of $20 per person to support Bird Lab and ecological restoration initiatives in Hays Woods Park.
