New to birding? Looking for a group to bird with? Join Naturalist Educator Stephen Bucklin in Birding Pittsburgh’s Parks. Beginners are welcome, and binoculars will be available for those who would like to borrow a pair for the walk. For March we’re celebrating World Water Day with our friends at Three Rivers Waterkeeper at Duck Hollow.
We’ll meet at the Duck Hollow Access Parking Lot for an introduction to birding and ways that water pollution impacts our rivers, then take a short walk to search for migratory waterfowl and other birds along the banks of the Monongahela River. We’ll end back at the parking lot where Three Rivers Waterkeeper will share their new water birds & pollution zine.
