Where: Allegheny Commons Park (Northside)
What: Join the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy for a fun-filled day at Allegheny Commons Park as we celebrate Earth Month! Starting at 11:30 AM, we will have larger-than-life lawn games, balloon artists, free food, nature activities, live music, and so much more! We will also be joined by the Y on the Fly, offering even more family-friendly activities.
No registration is required to attend the celebration, except the following activities:
Story Hike: Planting a Rainbow
Spring is a time of new growth and color! Celebrate the colors of spring at Allegheny Commons by listening to a read aloud of Planting a Rainbow by Lois Ehlert. Afterwards help create a colorful display on the paths with sidewalk chalk to welcome spring. This program meets at Lake Elizabeth.
