Environmental Center Gets $250K State Grant

The new Frick Environmental Center has received a state $250,000 grant to help replace a facility that was destroyed by fire in 2002.
The grant was approved by the Commonwealth Financing Authority and announced Tuesday by state Rep. Dan Frankel, a Democrat from Squirrel Hill. Since the fire, environmental education has taken place at a trailer and the funding will help demolish the burned building. Read full article
