City Web Site Lists Free Summer Activities

Just in time for the start of summer, a new city Web site will help residents enjoy the outdoors without breaking their budgets.

At a press conference in Riverview Park on Monday afternoon, Mayor Luke Ravenstahl and Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy President and CEO Meg Cheever announced the start of a new online initiative -- www.parksarefree.com -- that will ensure that Pittsburgh residences take advantage of free events and activities at the city's public parks. Read full article
