PITTSBURGH — Renovations are continuing at a well-known Pittsburgh park.

Within the last year, a fountain was added to Allegheny Commons Park on the North Side, and park officials told Channel 11 they’re just beginning efforts that make them excited for what’s ahead.

The initiative will cost $1.1 million.

Perhaps the most noticeable part of the project will cover three small blocks from Sandusky to Federal Street, right across from Allegheny General Hospital.
