Bids Sought for New Frick Environmental Center at Squirrel Hill Park

Bids for the new $15.9 million Frick Environmental Center are due by April 15, as the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy expects construction to begin this summer.

Construction, expected to last two years, will close some trails and the parking lot near the old center, conservancy director of education Marijke Hecht said at a Wednesday night meeting about the project. Read full article
