Support your parks today

The commitment and financial support that our private-sector partners provide keep Pittsburgh's parks growing. The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy engages with companies both big and small, in a variety of ways that not only contribute to our mission to improve parks, but also provide brand visibility, marketing recognition and opportunities for employees to make a difference in the communities they love.

EITC Awards

Many of our environmental education programs promote learning about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) through immersion in the natural world. Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program is a way for businesses to enrich educational opportunities for students and earn tax credits by donating to an Educational Improvement Organization.

Major Improvement Projects

Since 1996, the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy has completed 17 major improvement projects in our parks to ensure that everyone has access to high-quality outdoor spaces. Private donations have made many of these projects possible. Most recently, we have committed to two major improvement projects: the full historical restoration of Allegheny Commons and a significant green infrastructure investment in McKinley Park.

Event & Program Sponsorship

Whether it be Tai Chi at Frick Park or the annual Hat Luncheon fundraiser, it is our mission to connect every Pittsburgher with their parks. Sponsorship of our public educational, health and fitness programs or our private fundraising events presents a dynamic opportunity to build your company’s brand recognition and increase sales.

Volunteer with Us

Corporate volunteer events are not only a tremendous help to the parks, but they're a great for building company morale and increasing your organization’s visibility in the community. Get your employees and colleagues out in the parks by setting up a volunteer day with us. Projects are based on the needs of the park, but have involved planting trees, cutting invasive vines, and gardening.
