Schenley Park's Westinghouse Memorial and Pond haven't been looking so great lately.  We don't want you to think it's gone unnoticed: we're in the planning phases of a complete restoration of the site, rather than a quick fix.  You can learn more about future plans for the pond here.

Butterfly walk pics

Schenley Park Concerts

Our Sundays in the Park concert series is ongoing through October!  We're working with the Pittsburgh Jazz Society this year to bring free performances by some of the city's great jazz musicians to Schenley Park.  You can find the complete schedule here.

Picnic shelter rentals

Phipps Run

This stream running through Schenley Park regularly overflowed and washed out a heavily used trail.  The Parks Conservancy and the City of Pittsburgh restored the stream to its proper channel and renewed the surrounding wetland.

Mellon Park

Mellon Park’s Walled Garden has been restored and replanted in memory of Ann Katharine Seamans.  A public art component brings the night sky to earth with “stars” embedded in the lawn.
